“A Cultural and Spiritual Gem of the Black Hills”
An oasis of great coffee, food and atmosphere within the historical mining town of Deadwood, SD. Possibly the only establishment without a slot mating or gaming room in the entire region. I stumbled on this beauty while searching for a quiet place for caffeine and inspiration while on a running training camp. Spent the entire day between training sessions and could have stayed longer. Had a latte, meatloaf sandwich and some local suds over the course of 4-5 hours. Spent time with the owner talking about the history of the town and local attractions. Very warm and welcoming, with no pretence. The open facade allowed the wonderful pine-filled air to drift through the place all afternoon. I couldn't have imagined a better way to spend the first day here. Oh yeah, they also have artisan glass blowing classes if you are into that and they do it in front of you while you eat/work/chat.... Unbelievable! Jon M. “Fresh, healthy lunch option”
The Pump House Deli & Coffee is set in a renovated service station with gas station memorabilia decor. The menu has a fresh feel with a selection of breakfast items (served until 11am) wraps, salads, sandwiches – including gluten free and vegetarian options, and a variety of specialty coffees. Our lunch was delicious, made to order and served with a smile. Also make sure to check out the adjacent Mind Blown Glass Studio. [5 of 5 stars] Reviewed March 24, 2015 Deadwoodfoodie Sturgis, SD

"Really interesting place-- with great coffee!”
The Pump House was our go-to spot each morning we were in Deadwood... and, on a couple of days it was our afternoon spot as well! The glass studio that's attached adds some more interest and the outdoor deck was a nice place to take a break. It's a must do! [4 of 5 stars] Reviewed April 3, 2015 Esther M. Wooster, OH

Took a walk here each morning to grab a cup of coffee. Friendly service and great coffee. :) Neat place to sit and hang out. JTZEE Janesville, WI 7/11/14

Besides being the only place I found where you can get a decent cup of coffee, the addition of the glass blowing lessons is awesome! I travel for work, and have never seen a place like this in my life! I love my new pice of glass art, I love my memories of the place, and the staff and quality was top notch. Quirky Cool, go now!! They have a nice variety of sandwiches for lunch and the staff is friendly. It is an old gas station filled with memorabilia of an old station. Judy G Springfield, VA 7/17/14

What a fantastic place to eat. My family and I tripped upon this café after a bus tour guide made the suggestion to us. We were impressed with the homemade food. We had a variety of items from the menu and each was great! Stop by here while visiting. AF 6/11/14
